Entry requirements
Undergraduate
- High school certificate, with an equivalency certificate for non-UAE-ministry curricula
- Mathematics: 70% (UAE ministry or American), IB 3 in HL or SL, C at AS/A Level, or 65% (Indian and Pakistani boards)
- 70% in two other subjects (excluding Arabic, English and Islamic Studies)
Postgraduate
- MBA: relevant bachelor's degree, Upper Second Class or GPA 3.0 / 4.0 (2.5–2.99 may be admitted conditionally)
- MBA: GPA 2.0–2.49 needs at least two years of relevant work experience
English language
- Undergraduate: 80% in high school English or Academic IELTS 5.0; English-taught curricula are exempt
- MBA: Academic IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 79 (IELTS 5.5 / iBT 71 for conditional admission)
About BUiD
The British University in Dubai (BUiD) was founded in 2003 and is based in Dubai International Academic City. It has a strategic alliance with three UK Russell Group universities: the University of Edinburgh, the University of Manchester and the University of Glasgow.
BUiD has three faculties — Engineering & Computer Science, Education, and Business & Law — and teaches bachelor's, master's (including an MBA for working professionals) and doctoral degrees. BSc Business Management students have the option to complete the final two years of their degree at the University of Salford in the UK.
