Heriot-Watt University’s Dubai Campus is located in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), approximately 20 minutes from the Dubai business district.
Spread across an area of 20 million square feet and dedicated solely to universities and colleges, DIAC is the first development of its kind in Dubai. It supports a large, vibrant academic community. Eight million square feet has been dedicated to the international higher education zone, while a further three million square feet is allocated to research and development centres.

The cost is set by the UAE Government Services Office (GSO)and is subject to charge. In addition to the Government charges, the University imposes a service charge for the processing of a visa and requires a refundable deposit which is returned on leaving the University at the end of studies.
Please note that an express service is available for the processing of a new visa. To use this service, please add an additional AED. 1,310 to the GSO charge.
A First or Second Class Honours Degree in a relevant discipline will normally be acceptable for entry to postgraduate programmes. The degree can be from a British or overseas university.
Different degrees, together with relevant industrial experience, will also be considered.
Undergraduates (Bachelors): IELTS 6.0 overall*or an acceptable equivalent.
Postgraduates(Masters/PhD): IELTS 6.5 overall*or an acceptable equivalent.
